In order to provide regular assistance for families in need, our organization needed a way to maintain stable funding. The answer comes in the form of our on-site thrift store. When you donate your gently used items and charitable contributions, we’re able to use those proceeds to provide emergency services for those who need it the most. This also means that when you shop in our thrift store, you directly support our mission to alleviate suffering in McNairy County. Stop by during the hours listed to support our mission!
Contribution Drop-Off Information
All donated items in sellable condition are sold in our thrift store, with proceeds funding our emergency services for families in need. If you would like to help us in our mission and donate to our cause, we accept all gently used items listed below as well as monetary donations, retail shopping bags, and newspapers to help us keep costs down so we can do more for families in need.

All donated items must be sellable to help us raise funds for families. For this, as well as space and safety reasons, we cannot accept the following items:
❌ Used Mattresses
❌ Old Televisions
❌ Encyclopedias
❌ Items that may be moldy, contaminated, or broken
Selmer’s contribution drop off location is open 24/7, but it is always helpful to call before dropping off large donations. Please remember that we are in need of gently used, clean donations.
Furniture pickup is only on a case by case and volunteer availability. Please call the Selmer store @ 731-646-2600 to inquire about the possibility of making an appointment for this service.
